Robert M. Rey, M.D., M.P.P.

Best known in the US, Brazil and around the world as the star of the E! Network hit series, DR. 90210, Dr. Robert Rey is also an author, he is an accomplished martial artist with a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, he is an expert in fitness and nutrition, and he has become a successful businessman with numerous brands in the apparel, skin care, and nutritional categories.

He appears frequently on a wide variety of television and radio shows, including Dr Hollywood and Programa Marcia in Brazil, DR. DREW’S LOVELINE, a weekly segment in Los Angeles for TELEMUNDO, a national Spanish language radio segment on ESTRELLA, and numerous segments for ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT and THE INSIDER, where he covers a variety of different stories. He frequently appears on such other shows as THE VIEW and THE TODAY SHOW, seen by millions.

Coming to the United States after a poverty-stricken childhood in Brazil, Dr. Rey excelled in his undergraduate and medical studies and became one of America’s—and the world’s—most recognizable doctors, and he is one of the few worldwide television personalities and medical authorities who is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Dr. Rey has attended some of the top American educational institutions, from U.C.L.A. School of Medicine, to Tufts University School of Medicine, to Harvard Medical School's Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital where he completed a plastic surgery fellowship. He is fully trained as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon.

In addition to his surgical training, Dr. Rey also earned a Master’s degree in Health Policy from the Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government. And he served in The Office of the United States Surgeon General, as health policy speech-writer to Dr. C. Everett Koop.

Dr. Rey is widely known for his success in the glamorous world of Beverly Hills. But he has becoming increasingly involved in charitable work in the United States and around the world, using his medical training to bring much-needed help to those in need. In Los Angeles, he has done pro bono work in the East LA communities, helping primarily Latino victims of domestic abuse and gang violence. In both Mexico and Brazil, he has performed humanitarian medical missions, primarily on children in need of reconstructive surgeries, and he has frequently done this work in poorly equipped and primitive clinics without all the latest technologies.
